Our client is a highly successful gold explorer and producer with a myriad of locations in Victoria's gold belt.

Role:

Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will support the Mining team in developing and producing designated ore blocks, emphasising safety and efficiency. Whilst in the role, your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Ensure safety standards within the Mine Operations Team.

• Develop and execute mining methods for upcoming ore production.

• Assist in weekly planning and mine design.

• Coordinate consultants' work on mine design.

• Collaborate with the mining department.

• Direct meetings and interactions with mining crews for smooth production.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following;

• Mining Engineering degree.

• Minimum 2 years of Underground Mining experience.

• Experience in narrow-vein mining methods.

• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Deswick.

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
